Interac Co., Ltd., Japan’s leading private provider of Assistant Language Teachers to the Japanese public schooling system is currently accepting applications from motivated and committed educators currently residing in the Miyagi area to join our team of over 2000 teaching professionals for positions starting in April 2010.
If you love kids, have a passion for teaching, and wish to expand your horizons and teaching skills by working in the public schooling system in Japan as an ALT, then you are the candidate we are looking for.
Interested applicants must be available to teach from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm. Applicants must be fluent speakers of English, possess a BA/ BSc degree or equivalent, hold a valid working visa for Japan and be able to commit to the duration of the contract (generally one year from start date). Subject to contract renewal, it may be possible to extend for a further year of employment.
The positions are reimbursed at a fixed daily rate of 9,000-13,000 yen per day depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. A monthly travel allowance up to 10, 000 yen is provided for these positions.
