Interac Co., Ltd. is currently accepting applications for Elementary school Assistant Language Teacher position in Yokohama starting from June 25, 2010 until March 25, 2011.
The monthly remuneration, inclusive of attendance bonus, is 255,000 yen per month. Paid school vacation period is available as well.
Applicants should possess a BA/BS (or equivalent) from a university, MUST hold a valid work visa for Japan, be a native speaker of English, speak Japanese, be currently residing in Yokohama areas (or be prepared to relocate or commute) and be able to attend an interview in Yokohama.
Three Elementary schools will be assigned. The nearest stations are Keikyu Kanagawa station, Yokohama station and Hodogaya station.
The successful candidates should live or be willing to relocate to the area and have experience in ESL teaching. Previous ALT experience is a big advantage.
The position is full-time, with a fixed schedule Monday to Friday (no evening, weekend or public holiday shifts) between the hours of 8:30 am and 17:00 pm.
