Full-Time Native English Teacher-Higashi Tostuka (Yokohama)

Face English Academy is a small foreign owned and run English School in Higashi Totsuka, Yokohama. Established in 2000 we have built a reputation for developing great learning environments for our students.

The teachers have a lot of creative control and freedom within the classroom and are supported by an extensive time tested curriculum.

One of our long term teachers (of 4 years) is moving on to greener pastures and we are currently seeking her replacement. Classes range from kinder kids to adults with the focus on kids classes. So, a motivated and independent teacher who enjoys working with and developing young minds and mature learners alike is necessary.

Requirements

* Native speaker from an English speaking country
* Experience with early childhood teaching
* A degree or extensive training for ESL/TESL
* A long term commitment (2 years+)
* A passion to teach,develop and give your students the effort they deserve

Training, hours and benefits
2 weeks of training and familiarization beginning October 19th with solo teaching duties to start from Nov 2nd.
The position is 5 days a week, Monday to Friday and evening work 3 days a week. 30 teaching hours per week. 40 hour work week total. Overtime available.
Starting salary is 240-270,000yen with a raise after 6 month evaluation.
Transportation allowance available.
This position has room to move and achieve more. We hope the right applicant will have the experience and motivation to attempt to fill the void left by our current teacher who works in the capacity of chief curriculum adviser for kids classes. A premium is offered for accepting these duties.
