The man wanted on suspicion of abandoning the body of a British woman in Chiba Prefecture in 2007 worked for a construction company in Osaka Prefecture for about 13 months until last month, The Yomiuri Shimbun has learned.
Police believe Tatsuya Ichihashi saved nearly 1 million yen from the work and used the money to pay for cosmetic surgery to alter his appearance and to lie low to evade capture. (Yomiuri)
