INTERAC Co. Ltd. Hiroshima is currently accepting applications for an ALT position in a Kindergarten, Junior High School, and High School in Shimane Prefecture, starting from April 2010.
We are looking for candidates who can commit until March 2011. We offer a competitive remuneration package, including a monthly performance bonus to the successful applicant.
The successful applicant should live in or be willing to relocate to Shimane Prefecture, possess a valid work visa and have at least a BA/BS from an accredited university. A valid driver’s license (International or Japanese) is required.
Candidates must love to work with children and strive to create a fun classroom with the Japanese teaching staff. Candidates must also be motivated and can work without close supervision. Training, initial and on-going, is provided. An extensive support network of local English-speaking Japanese staff together with experienced ALTs is available to assist the new ALTs with any problems or concerns they may have.
