ALTIA CENTRAL is looking for great people to join our team as a Mixed Junior High School / Elementary school ALT in the semi-rural part of Hatsukaichi city in Hiroshima prefecture from April 2010. Our Recruiting staff will be conducting interviews at our head office in Nagoya city and likely in Hiroshima city as well and we are looking forward to meeting as many interested applicants as possible. Hatsukaichi is located right next to Hiroshima city and these schools are mostly located about 30 minutes outside of the main part of Hatsukaichi.
Successful applicants must be flexible, enjoy working with young children, and be motivated to go the extra mile to provide a positive experience for their students. A strong desire to continue to live and work in Japan, solid Japanese language skills, and some teaching experience with young learners is also highly recommended, and a minimum BA/BS degree is required for visa purposes. Successful applicants must also be available for 4 days of Training in Nagoya (accomodation and transportation paid for) from the 27th of March.
