Yoshihiro Kunikata "Black Pottery: Moon Trip"
at INAX Gallery 1 & 2
Media: Ceramics - Art Party
(2010-09-07 - 2010-10-15)
Opening Reception on 2010-09-07 from 18:30 to 19:00
Yoshihiro Kunikata’s graceful ceramic objects, which resemble many-legged creatures, have a quirky sense of humor about them. Hanging down from a round ceramic base that looks like a lotus leaf are 10-20 appendages that seem to be either plant roots or jellyfish tentacles. This exhibition showcases an entire room of these black ceramic creatures.
