We are looking for a part time teacher to teach on wednesday evenings in various juku school locations in Hyogo prefecture (see below). The contract will run from September 9, 2010 and end February 16, 2011. The hours would be from 16:50 to 19:10. There will be a total of 2 classes (65 minutes each). One class will consist of 5th grade students and the other class will consist of 6th grade students. The schools will be at the following stations: Harima-cho (Sanyo line), JR Higashi Kakogawa, JR Kakogawa, Takasago (Sanyo), JR Hoden and Onoe (Sanyo). The lesson plans for the classes will be provided. The applicant must have the proper work visa (no tourist visas, please) and some experience teaching children.

Full time ALT (Assistant Language Teacher) required for a private language school in Shimizu-cho, Shizuoka prefecture, Japan. Will be teaching at Elementary Schools Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Contract Period: 26th August 2010- 31st March 2011

Discovery International School is a new English-language preschool located in Nagakute-cho, on the eastern border of Nagoya. We provide a Reggio Emilia-inspired, play-based education experience for preschoolers and after school elementary students. Starting from September, we are seeking a full-time Japanese teacher to work collaboratively with a non-Japanese teaching partner in a 2-year-old class.
