Currently we are expanding our off-site operations in Philippines and Pakistan
to enhance productivity and further excel as the leader of the pre-owned vehicle export market.
Now, you will be the key to the success of whole IT section,
as on-site team in Japan HQ needs to be able to communicate without a stress with off-site team.

Basic Salary/Commission/Other:
Basic Salary (Negotiable)- JPY3,000,000-JPY8,000,000 Annual (depending on skills and experience)
Other - Social Insurances

Working Days/Hours:
Days - 5 days a week (Monday-Friday)
Hours - 9:00-17:00 (1hr lunch break)

Responsibilities:
* Serve as a liaison to the off-site (Philippines/Pakistan) and on-site (Japan HQ) IT team.
* Develop enhancement and implement bug fixes according to requirements following the clients design and coding standards.
* Review existing code base to highlight areas of risk and suggest improvement.
* Conduct user acceptance testing of all work to ensure that requirement are met and that standards are adhered to
* Deploy code to production, coordinate, merge and deploy planned changes in accordance to the guidelines given.
* Understand every department work and find out the way of integration for productivity of work.
* Train the person in charge to train the rest of the staff worldwide.
* Adopt new technology that will benefit the organization.
* Program or design in such way that is easy to understand and attractive.
* Prepare report on accomplished task and upcoming assignments in the pipeline.

Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
* Required language(s): English and Japanese
* Preferably Assistant Manager / Managers specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent Job role in Software Engineer/Programmer or Software Architect
* Hands-on and knowledge in .Net Framework, ASP.Net, VB.Net, C#, ADO.Net and Web, database programming MSSQL/MYSQL, FrontPage and Macromedia Flash
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Positive attitude, independent and willingness to learn
* Preferably can start work immediately
* MCSE,MCSD Certification preferred
* Knowledge on PHP as advantage

Ohtsuka Patent Office is seeking an engineer or patent attorney able to work on part-time basis.
Tasks include:
Translations from Japanese into English, vise versa
Communication with clients
Analyzing patent documents and preparation of reports
Proofreading patent documents that have been translated from Japanese to English.
Checking grammar and overall quality of outgoing English documents, letters, email etc.

The qualified candidate is a native English speaker with strong technical writing skills, and is able to read and speak technical Japanese. Candidates with a background in electrical engineering, telecommunications, mechanical engineering, computer science, and/or physics are preferred. IP experience is preferred but not required.
