This is the second solo exhibition by Ayao Shiokawa (b. 1978 in Kanagawa), a graduate of Tokyo University of the Arts who is now based in Tokyo. Her works consist mainly of woodblock prints, drawings and paintings that are created using “primitive” methods.

On display here are mixed media works that make use of watercolor and woodblock engravings on top of washi paper.
