Solo exhibition by Tentou Mishima (b. 1948), who became a freelance illustrator, book and graphic designer in the 1970s after gaining experience working under Kiyoshi Awazu and Shuji Terayama. His prolific 40 year career in print media included a five-year stint in the 80s spent producing a three-edition series of his works, which was reissued in 2009 as the single 576-page volume “Line Style.” On display here are Mishima’s most recent large-scale acrylic and transparent film works, a selection of past drawings, and a huge installation.
